Calibration Software
Static Heading Calibration
This software package allows heading calibration for Watson gyro
sensors that provide a heading output. This program calibrates the
heading of a Watson sensor by taking four readings. To use this
software, you must have a magnetometer-equipped gyro sensor. You must
also be able to accurately point the installation platform to headings
and hold position there to take data. Click the link below to download

Moving Heading Calibration
This software is designed to be used with Watson sensors on moving
platforms that can not point to a heading and hold position. Once again,
your heading gyro package must be equipped with a magnetometer to use
this software. The calibration procedure for this software involves turning
the vehicle/platform in a circle.

NOTE
The software that is available for download from this website is written for English versions of the Windows OS. We have worked to make sure foreign language versions of Windows can use all the features of the software; However, users running Windows with a language other than English may experience problems, or the software may generate errors. Switching the default language to English (USA) should solve these issues.
Watson Display Software
The Watson Display software package is designed to provide data processing and display for virtually all Watson Industries gyro products with digital RS-232 output. This program features processed data output whether the unit is in binary or decimal mode, a data terminal window, limited graphing with screen capture capability, data logging, data playback, attitude and heading reference display (for units with the proper outputs), and a turn and slip gauge (given proper output from the unit). This application also has the ability to retrieve the EEPROM Map from a Watson unit automatically, and can also automatically update or restore the unit's map with one provided by the factory.
This software package is still being tested here at Watson, but we would
like to offer our customers the chance to take advantage of all the new
features. We would like to receive some feedback from our customers on
additional features that are necessary as well as compatibility or operational
