RoHS Compliance
RoHS is a directive from the European Parliament that requires the removal of lead and other hazardous substances from the manufacture of electronics. The RoHS directive has been in full effect since July 1, 2006.
The gyro products manufactured by Watson Industries, Inc. fall into category 9 (Monitoring and Control Instruments) and are therefore exempt from the RoHS directive. Wherever possible, Watson Industries, Inc. is in the process of phasing out components that are not RoHS compliant in an effort to better the safety of our customers, employees, and the environment. If you have a need for a RoHS compliant sensor product, we are more than willing to work with you. AS9100C is the newest revision to the Aerospace quality standard, and Watson is proud to be an industry leader when it comes to quality assurance.
