Vibrating Structure Gyroscopes
Watson Industries has been using these gyros in products since 1995. While still small in size, they are larger and heavier than our ARS series of gyros. However, they feature a more rugged design and are better able to handle vibration and shock. VSG gyroscopes are used in marine, automotive, medical, robotics and many other applications as a stand-alone sensor. The VSG is also the rate gyro of choice in most of our sensor packages which have an even wider range of applications.
