Dynamic Measurement Systems
Watson Industries now offers six types of dynamic measurement systems, or DMS. The DMS-E604 is our standard inertial gyro for this product line and provides triaxial rate along with six axes of acceleration data. The DMS-EGP01 has all the same features of the DMS-E604, but also has a single GPS antenna that provides a velocity signal to the sensor. It also provides the DMS with a heading reference when the vehicle is in motion. The DMS-EGP02 features a dual antenna GPS system that provides accurate heading data even when the vehicle is stopped. The DMS-S models are all miniaturized versions of the DMS-E sensors. The DMS-S products use MEMS gyros which makes them smaller and more economical. The DMS-E sensors use our VSG gyroscopes for enhanced accuracy and signal stability.
