Strapdown Heading References

Watson Industries has has three types of heading reference sensors. All the devices are "strapdown" units which means that they can be hard mounted and do not have to be gimbaled. The SHR-S360 and SHR-E360 models are equipped with a gyro that is used to output a gyro stabilized heading. This makes the heading reference readings more accurate during dynamic situations. The SHR-E360 features an E-series angular rate gyro for enhanced accuracy and lower noise characteristics.
