Attitude and Heading References

Watson Industries has two types of attitude and heading reference systems, or AHRS. The AHRS-E304 is our standard attitude gyro and features enhanced specifications over the AHRS-S305 model. The advantages of the AHRS-S305 are its size, price, and temperature range. While both devices are accurate enough for many attitude and heading related applications, the AHRS-E304 has higher accuracy and lower noise characteristics. Both of our attitude reference sensors use our high quality fluxgate magnetometer as a heading reference, but the AHRS-S305 uses smaller MEMS gyroscopes instead of our E-series angular rate sensors. This allows the AHRS-S305 to fit into a smaller package.
