Watson Industries History

Watson Industries was founded in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in 1980. We have been in production of high quality solid state gyroscopes since the company's inception. We pride ourselves in providing economical custom products and engineering services in the international marketplace.

Watson Industries has many patents on gyros, gyroscope technology, and inertial sensing systems including our "tuning fork" and piezoelectric cup gyros.

Watson Industries has produced and presented several papers on gyro technology. These papers have been presented at conventions such as SAE and IEEE. We have also presented at international gyro symposiums in Bristol and Stuttgart.

As part of Watson Industries' solid commitment to quality, our production facility located at 3035 Melby Rd. is ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100B:2004 certified. See our quality section for more details on our quality assurance program.
